Why with me?

When I was 34, I made a leap of faith: left everything and came to China to study qigong and taiji quan. Planning to stay here a year, I stayed for 9 years, learning language, culture, philosophy and of course Chinese cuisine. Having organised more than 20 unique traveling routes around China, I am a professional and dedicated guide, who can show you the country as no one else can.

I have crossed China from the West to the East, From the South to the North, I organize both: small group and individual tours, showing beautiful nature, old temples and new cities.

What will we see this time?
30.11 – 7.12.2024
  • Day 1 – 2: arrival to Xi'an

Xi’an – ancient capital of Tang Dynasty. On these days we will take a trip to famous Terracota Army. After returning to the city and rest, we will walk through Calligraphy quarter to the Southern gates of Xi’an city wall. We will climb the wall and walk towards the sunset.

When it gets dark, we will go down from the wall and go the Muslim quarter – a real feast for your eyes and stomachs. We will visit ancient mosk and go to the Bell Tower.
  • Day 3: Longman grottos
After breakfast we will leave our luggage in the hotel and got to the Xi’an Northern Train station to take a train to another ancient capital – Luoyang .

We will go directly to Longman grottos – caves with stone carved Buddahs dating back to 7th century. If the weather is nice, we will take a boat that shows us around. Then we will return to the train station where we will go to Mountains Hua.
  • Day 4: Hua Mountains
Wake up early and after breakfast , we will get to the Western Peak by cable car. We will walk to the Northern Peak through Eatsern Peak. We will descend by cable car from the Northern peak.
Walking between peaks means climbing lots of stairs and a medium fitness level. We will walk against the main flow of people who usually starts from the Northern peak. One of the reasons: there are very steep stairs to climb – so we will walk them down (still requires strong legs and they are harsh on your knees). The second reason- a famous death trail and another less famouse but even more beautiful landmarks are closer to the western peak. So it’s better to have enough energy in the beginning of the hike. If you don’t feel confident about your fitness level, you still can get to the western peak, but walk around and descend from the western peak cable car, avoiding long and exhausting hike.
  • Day 5: Big Goose Pagoda
Coming back to Xi’an by train. Free time. In the afternoon we are going to the Big Goose Pagoda – a place where first buddhist sutras brought from India were kept. Then have a walk around this lively area, going to Tang dynasty park.
And those who want to,can watch the largest musical fountain show in Asia.
  • Day 6: Lijiang
We are taking a plane that brings us to Lijiang, Yunnan province. Our hotel is situated in the old town – the place where famous tea way began. Yunnan is famous for it’s pu’ers and red teas.
Walking around old town. Going to the Black Dragon Pond Park.
  • Day 7: Valley of Blue moons
We are going to the National Park of Jade Dragon Snow Mountains to the Valley of Blue moons. Those who wish to can take a cable car to the top of Snow Dragon (not included into price). Warning – since you will change the altitude from 2200 meters to 4400, you will need to buy pocket oxygen tanks and also to rent coats.
